At summer parties, school fêtes or company events the question is rarely whether things need to be cold, but how much cooling you need – for drinks, for sweet treats and sometimes for the people themselves.

As an attraction for guests there are the soft-serve machine and the slush machine. The ice cube maker keeps drinks and cocktails supplied, served with the ice scoop, and the iced tea dispenser puts cold self-service drinks on the table. For storage there is the large freezer for frozen goods, the glass-door fridge for drinks at the bar and the cake fridge for gateaux and desserts. If a marquee or hall gets stuffy, the pedestal fan gets the air moving.

Almost every unit in this category needs power, so plan sockets or a cable reel from the start and give fridges and freezers some time before filling them. For events over several days, the duration discounts are worth a look; they are applied automatically: from 3 days −15 %, from 7 days −30 % and from 14 days −40 %.

Larger units can be picked up at the warehouse or delivered. The delivery price is a flat rate per vehicle class plus a per-kilometre rate and is calculated live at checkout.
