Description
Soup as a starter, salad at the buffet, chilli at an autumn fete: a bowl is more versatile at events than you might think. Because it is deeper than a plate, saucy dishes stay put even when guests walk around with their food. It is just as handy for a portion of pudding.
Hiring bowls is worthwhile as soon as more than one course is planned. In a place setting, stand it on the Large Plate, which also keeps it steady. At a food stall the bowl replaces the paper tray, for example for chips with the Chip Salt Shaker. Clearing away is done with the Dish Trolley, which takes whole stacks to the washing-up area in one go.
